Casa Marianella welcomes displaced immigrants and asylum seekers and promotes self-sufficiency by providing shelter and support services.

In addition to shelter, Casa offers access to legal and medical resources, food, clothing, English classes, and other essential services. The majority of our residents come to us directly from detention centers.

Founded in 1986 as a single home serving immigrant men, women, and children, Casa Marianella has grown to include multiple shelter programs. In 2003, Casa opened Posada Esperanza, a nearby shelter for immigrant women and children, many of whom are escaping domestic or cultural violence. Today, Casa Marianella includes an adult shelter, Posada Esperanza, and a family shelter, Abri Lumière, serving an average of 325 immigrants and asylum seekers each year.
